These have been decorated with decoupage made from vintage illustrations and paintings. The decoupage is made by myself and printed in fade resistant ink designed to last up to 100 years before any fading occurs. The text appears in the colour of the the undercoat and the top coat is a dark graphite. The whole thing has been distressed all over to show the undercoat and to age it. I paint thickly, with texture and aim to create the feel of a genuinely aged, bohemian piece.
Varnished and with a wire on the back so it’s ready to pop on the wall.
The heart is made from thin MDF and measures 21cm high, 20 cm wide and 5mm thick.
