Upcycled vintage table-top, now art for the wall! This is solid wood and very heavy, 5.7 kilograms in weight.
Painted in thick layers of paint. The image is an vintage illustration and has been printed, by myself, in fade resistant ink. Applied using the decoupage technique. I have then painted across the top in very thick, textured layers and then distressed this, in some areas back to wood. The text reads in the colour of the undercoat. Finished with stencilled orange stars.
Finally varnished and with a wire on the back so it's ready to hang on the wall.
