Upcycled coffee table top made into art for the wall!

Painted in thick layers of Chalkpaint. This features antique images taken from Victorian seed packets and postcards, curated and copied by myself in fade resistant ink. All applied, using the decoupage technique in a collage. I have then painted across the top in very thick, textured layers and then distressed this, in some areas back to wood and to show the turquoise undercoat. The text reads in the colour of the undercoat. I aim to create the feel of a genuinely aged bohemian piece.
Finally varnished and with a wire on the back so it's ready to hang on the wall.
