A pair of modern reproduction MDF bedside tables.
Painted in thick layers of paint. The decoupage has been printed in fade-resistant ink designed to last up to 100 years before any fading occurs. Then painted over the top to blend all of the components together. The text reads, in the hot pink and cream colours of the undercoat.
Olive green ‘dipped’ feet.
Distressed all over to reveal glimpses of the undercoats and back to wood in some areas to age it. I paint thickly, with texture to create the feel of a genuinely aged bohemian piece that retains the spirit of the furniture.
Finally finished with stencilled metallic gold stars and varnished with a floor varnish to provide a durable finish.
These are refurbished pieces and may contain life marks. They are sturdy and heavy and solid and both drawers slide easily.
