'Anything is Possible' Sideboard
Price incudes delivery to England (£100) two man delivery to the ground floor.
Please read full description and view all photos. PLEASE ALLOW UP TO 4 WEEKS FOR DELIVERY (usually much quicker). I will contact you after purchase
The decoupage consists of a vintage magazine cover and an antique botanical illustration from the 1600s by Maria Sybilla Merian (a favourite of mine).
The decoupage has been made by myself and has been printed in fade-resistant ink designed to last up to 100 years before any fading occurs. Then painted over the top to blend all of the components together. The text reads, in the green of the undercoat ‘anything is possible’. The right hand door has been finished with stencilled stars.
Distressed all over to reveal glimpses of the undercoat and back to wood in some areas to age it. I paint thickly, with texture to create the feel of a genuinely aged bohemian piece that retains the spirit of the furniture.
Finally varnished with a floor varnish to provide a durable finish.
This is a refurbished piece and is a very elderly lady and so has have life marks, dinks, knocks etc. She is sturdy and sound. The drawer slides well. The insides are rustic but clean. The inside of the drawer has a little shrinkage between the planks. The doors latch with an internal bolt on the left hand door. The key no longer functions on the right hand door so i have glued it in place to function as a handle and put a new catch in.
Dimensions:
40.5cm deep
85.5cm high
102cm L
