'It Will Be Okay' Chest of Drawers

The decoupage consists of an image of a rose from a Victorian seed packet.
The decoupage has been made by myself and has been printed in fade-resistant ink designed to last up to 100 years before any fading occurs. Then painted over the top to blend all of the components together. The text reads, in the colours of the undercoat ‘it'll be okay’.
Distressed all over to reveal glimpses of the undercoat and back to wood in some areas to age it. I paint thickly, with texture to create the feel of a genuinely aged bohemian piece that retains the spirit of the furniture.
Finally varnished with a floor varnish to provide a durable finish.
This is a refurbished piece and so may have life marks, dinks, knocks etc. It is sturdy and sound. The drawers slide well.
