Upcycled vintage table-top, now art for the wall!
Painted in thick layers of paint. The image is an antique illustration and has been printed, by myself, in fade resistant ink. Applied using the decoupage technique. I have then painted across the top in very thick, textured layers and then distressed this, in some areas back to wood. The text reads in the colour of the undercoat. The frame is decorated with thick blobs of yellow paint.
Finally varnished and with a wire on the back so it's ready to hang on the wall.
